Limatica Commissions TestStation at LG Energy Solution in Korea

Limatica has successfully commissioned one of its TestStations at an LG Energy Solution production facility in Korea, marking an important milestone in the collaboration between the two companies.

LG Energy Solution is the world's third-largest EV battery manufacturer by installed battery capacity, making this deployment an important opportunity to implement and evaluate Limatica's technology within a leading industrial battery production environment.

During the visit, the Limatica team installed the system, presented its battery diagnostic technology and worked closely with LG Energy Solution's specialists to establish the foundation for the next phase of the project.

Limatica's technology is designed to accelerate battery cell quality evaluation by reducing the dependency on multi-day qualification processes. By combining proprietary voltage-noise sensing with machine-learning-based analysis, the system provides deeper insights into cell behavior and enables faster quality decisions in battery manufacturing.

The commissioning also represents an important step in Limatica's expansion into the Asian battery market. Limatica thanks the LG Energy Solution team for the productive technical discussions, close collaboration and warm welcome in Korea.

Both teams will now continue working together on the implementation and evaluation of the technology.
