LIMATICA has won the first AI Start-up Challenge launched by auto motor und sport, together with Heartfelt_, Europe's First Cheque Fund, and reziprok Ventures.

The competition, endowed with €100,000, recognizes startups bringing artificial intelligence into the mobility value chain.

LIMATICA is developing an innovative measurement method for battery production. By combining deeper data with AI models, battery manufacturers can significantly reduce time and cost in quality assurance.

The technology helps shorten the cell aging process by up to 90%. This makes production more sustainable and improves competitiveness through lower costs and shorter production times.

Dr.-Ing. Paul Büschel, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Limatica, said the award highlights the relevance and potential of battery innovation — especially as Europe and North America work to scale battery production.
